first experiences

First experiences are crucial for learners: they determine someone's further interest and engagement in the area. It is essential to be very diligent while designing them to make learners feel accomplished and motivated to engage further.

Game-based learning

Gaming is one of the biggest industries in the world; it provides a playful and dynamic way to engage in an experience and stack on skills. There are many components of gaming that are useful in education some that I value are just in time telling, identity building, and system thinking.

motivation

Learning should be many things; being fun is maybe the most understated one: I make sure the design account for motivation and engagement for the particular group of people I'm designing.

public speaking

Since I was in high school I have been interested in public speaking and was participating in various initiatives and contests. Last year I was lucky to give a speech about the work I was doing in Edtech at a local TEDx event. Public Speaking has given me a chance to speak about my interests in education and the impact that it has.

Since I was in high school I have been interested in public speaking and was participating in various initiatives and contests. Last year I was lucky to give a speech about the work I was doing in Edtech at a local TEDx event.

It all started more than 10 years ago when I was first introduced to the platform as a TEDx kids speaker to share my personal challenges in school and how the ideas of not being born talented was hindering my development and how I started embracing it.
